Home Stay in a Scottish Home

Hillholme

"Ceud Mille Failte"

"Ceud Mille Failte" (a hundred thousand welcomes)

We differ from traditional bed and breakfast accommodation as guests may interact with their hosts, if they wish, sharing meals and being part of family life in a Scottish home.

At a "home stay" it is recommended that guests have meals with their hosts, not only for their delicious, home-cooked meals but also for their lively conversation.

Hosts will share their knowledge of Scotland and Scottish customs and culture. They will also direct you to places and activities of interest, especially within Dumfries and Galloway and South-West Scotland.

Twin and double rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated. The price of £50 per room per night includes a full Scottish breakfast, tea/coffee, toiletries and free wifi. Guests will be treated as part of the family and experience true Scottish hospitality.

If home stay accommodation is not available at Hillholme or Falbeg, we are able to direct you to very good local accommodation at a bed and breakfast, guest house or hotel.
